About Me
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences from the University of Arizona and completed my dietetic internship at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
I have practiced dietetics in Tucson for over 25 years. I began my career on the Nutrition Support Team at Tucson Medical Center caring for parenteral and enteral patients before transitioning to home care. I was the Nutrition Support Dietitian for Home Medical of America and then Coram Specialty Infusion Services, formulating and managing TPN and tube feeding regimens for patients in the home. I then provided a wide range of home nutrition counseling for Bayada Home Health.
Throughout my career, I have counseled adult and pediatric patients with a variety of health conditions, including GI diseases, failure to thrive, diabetes, and heart disease.
I have conducted many presentations for healthcare professionals on topics ranging from Short Bowel Syndrome to Ethics in Nutrition Support.
I have been in private practice since 2015, specializing in gastrointestinal disorders.
